One of the harbor’s more contentious projects is Kryers Plads. The region served as a port for about 200 years before a protracted conflict between residents and developers over the scope of the new construction project broke out. The outcome is a public area and bathing pier that have grown to be popular gathering places in Copenhagen. You may have a picnic from here while taking in the fantastic harbor views on the wooden decking. The area is next to the informal wine bar Naervr, which offers small inventive dishes and superb wine, and was created to match the city’s ancient warehouses while renewing its industrial roots.
